Dr. Oscar Rodriguez is one of a handful of cigar brand owners who also have a medical background. In Rodriguez’s case, he’s an emergency room physician, and a side effect of his work in the ER serves as the inspiration for his latest release.
That new cigar is the GTO Insomnia, which is actually a collaboration between Rodriguez’s GTO Cigars and Mario Caraballo of Casa Caraballo. As for the cigar, the GTO Insomnia is a 6 x 52 toro that uses a habano oscuro wrapper from Condega, Nicaragua over a Sumatra-seed binder from Indonesia and fillers from the Condega, Estelí and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua.
